H&A Textiles is built on nearly thirty years of experience in the international textile industry. This experience encompasses product development, manufacturing and quality management, marketing and product life cycle management as well as distribution and logistics management.

Founder and CEO, Zahid Hassan, started H&A in 1981 as a wholesale textile company to service the institutional trade. In this capacity, Zahid developed working relationships with the major textile mills in Pakistan; relationships that are a central part of the strong foundation of H&A to this day.

H&A quickly evolved from functioning as a Manufacturer's Representative for manufacturers in the USA. Recognizing the need to quickly transact larger volumes, H&A became an importer and began servicing customers out of a warehouse facility in Georgia.
With changing business requirements the retail industry became increasingly interested in importing from Pakistan and Bangladesh. H&A played a major part in servicing this growing demand for retail products. In 1990, Zahid Hassan started to represent a number of large Pakistani mills to U.S manufacturers in the retail industry: Springs, Pillowtex, Dan River, and other major importers. H&A became a global player working on four continents with manufacturers and importers.

With recent political and economic changes, H&A is adopting to its environment and the evolving needs yet again. The lifted trade quotas and the ongoing recession in the US are enabling H&A to best service the textile industry by focusing on the institutional rental service. The high quality of the products and the tight quality control offered through H&A are a well aligned match for the stringent requirements of the rental industry.
